The Content Pack is run by FC Productions Ltd, trading as Fina Charleson. For any privacy question or request, email fina@finacharlesoncontent.com.
What we collect
- Your name, email, show name and show link, plus the details you give in onboarding.
- The episode files or links you send.
- Payment details, which Stripe handles directly. We never see your full card number.
How we use it
Only to make and deliver your packs, run your subscription and reply to you. We don't sell your data and we don't send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law, we use your details to provide the service you signed up for or asked for, such as your free sample (contract). We keep payment and accounting records because the law requires it (legal obligation). We reply to your questions and spot duplicate uploads and repeat free samples because we have a legitimate interest in running the service fairly.
Your audio and video
Your episode is only used to make your pack. It's never shared or published. Files are stored privately in Dropbox.
How long we keep it
- 30 days after we deliver your pack, we delete your uploaded audio or video, its transcript, the pack files and their download links, and our working files and logs for that episode. Download links also expire after 30 days.
- Episodes that aren't delivered yet, or that are waiting for review, are kept until 30 days after delivery.
- What we keep while you're a client: your sign-up details; your show settings (host names, spellings and links); a short record of each episode (its ID, show, dates, status, file size and a digital fingerprint, but no audio or words from it) for billing, your monthly allowance and spotting duplicate uploads and repeat free samples; and the episode link you pasted, if you sent one, for the same duplicate check.
- Payment records stay in Stripe and our emails stay in our mailbox, as the law requires for our accounts.
- Ask us and we'll delete your details sooner (see Your rights).
Who processes it
- Stripe: payments and the subscription portal.
- Dropbox: storing your uploads and delivering your pack.
- Google (Workspace, Gmail, Sheets, Apps Script): email and client records. Google Fonts serves the website's fonts.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- AssemblyAI and Groq: turning your episode's audio into a transcript (USA).
- An AI writing assistant, run by our automation provider: drafts the pack from the transcript. We check every pack before it's sent.
- Apple Podcasts search: we look up your show's public podcast feed by its name or link.
Some of these companies are in the USA. They process your data only to provide their service to us, under their data-processing terms.
On your device
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The sign-up and upload pages remember the details you typed (name, email and show) in your browser's local storage on that device, so you don't have to type them again. They stay in that browser so you don't have to retype them, and you can clear them anytime in your browser settings. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views: it's cookieless, we only see aggregated page views, and it doesn't collect personal data.
Your rights
Ask anytime to see, correct or delete your data. Email us and we'll do it within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
